The 17+ acre site owned by the CRA at the corner of Bayshore Drive and Jeepers Drive has been rezoned to accommodate a mixed-use cultural arts facility. This site includes a 350-seat black-box theater, an open-air amphitheater, and a mixed-use commercial/residential district.

This project began in 2009 with the expertise of a team of experts assembed by Pizzuti Solutions from Orlando, Florida. The engineers and planners worked closely with local residents to produce a plan that would meet the aspirations for a local arts facility as well as provide a buffer to neighboring streets.

The project also incorporates the remediated brownfield site at the corner of Jeepers Drive. This outparcel is ideally suited as office space. Nearly $60,000 in tax credits are available for the redevelopment of the entire site because of the successful completion of the Brownfield Site Rehabilitation Agreement with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.

The project will be a welcome addition to Bayshore Drive, adding activities, office, retail, and dining.
